A Service for Nonfiction Writers

Every profession is a conspiracy against the laity.
           --George Bernard Shaw, Irish playwright

If you’re having a hard time finding an agent or publisher or don’t know how to do it, you may think Shaw was referring to publishing.

•    Do you have an idea for a book but don’t know the best option for you to write about it and get your book published?

•    Do you have a proposal, a manuscript, or a self-published book you want to sell?

•    Are you uncertain about how publishable your book is or the best way to sell it?

•    Do you know the fastest, easiest for you to become a successful author?

•    Is being able to transform your career worth $100 and fifteen minutes of your time?

New writers need answers to these questions. As an agent, I use more than three decades of writing, agenting, and publishing experience to help my clients answer them. But I want to help writers who I can't help as an agent, so I’ve started a consulting service that will give you the answers you need now.

The four biggest problems new nonfiction writers face are:

•    Coming up with a salable idea
•    Writing a proposal or manuscript
•    Finding an agent or publisher
•    Promoting their books

Fifteen minutes of my time may save you years of your time. I can answer your questions and demystify what you need to do and know to get where you want to go.

    The advice you receive may:

•    Save you years of failure and frustration
•    Help you get an agent
•    Help you sell your book as well and as quickly as possible
•    Enable you to make more money from your book
•    Make you a successful author sooner

I can give you a perspective about your writing and your career that will enable you to create a plan to achieve your goals no matter what stage of writing or building your career you are in.

The fee for each fifteen minutes is $100. Michael will review a nonfiction proposal or a self-published book for free before the consultation.
